Who we are
Our Story
Evergreen Health Chiropractic began in 2024 when Dr Charlie and Sandy founded the clinic under its original name, Major Premise Chiropractic, with a clear mission: to help the people of Portsmouth and the surrounding communities build stronger, healthier lives through precise, principled Chiropractic care.
From the beginning, their focus has been on addressing the underlying cause of spinal problems rather than simply managing symptoms. By combining detailed analysis, the Gonstead method, and a patient-centred approach, the clinic was built to provide a higher standard of care focused on long-term health and function.
Today, Evergreen Health Chiropractic continues that same mission: helping individuals and families move well, adapt well, and cultivate lasting health for years to come.

What to expect on your first visit
Your first visit is designed to gain a clear and thorough understanding of your health concerns and spinal function.
During this consultation, we carry out a detailed assessment which may include:
• Neurological and orthopaedic testing
• Postural analysis
• Digital X-rays where clinically necessary
We will take time to discuss your symptoms, understand your health goals, and answer any questions you may have about your care.
Chiropractic adjustments are not performed during this appointment. This allows us to carefully analyse your findings before recommending any treatment.
At your next visit, known as the Report of Findings, we will explain exactly what we discovered, what it means for your health, and the most appropriate plan of care moving forward.
